NEW EDITION KEEPING BUSY WITH NEW PROJECTS AND TOUR

Def Leppard is keeping busy as Joe Elliot talks about new music, a live DVD, 2 books and a cartoon in the works.

R&B group New Edition is scheduled to perform at the Hot 92 Winter Wonder Jam at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on December 9th. The group has been busy with a varety of projects include a movie and live concert DVD. Group member Ralph Tresvant explained,

New Edition also includes Ricky Bell, Ronny DeVoe, Michael Bivins, and Johnny Gill as well as Bobby Brown who was kicked out of the group in the early ’90s.

“We’re working on a few things. I got a new album in stores right now called, Rizzwafaire. So that’s out. Sitting there promoting that, getting that cranked up. First single called ‘My Homegirl,’ listen for it. Tell me what you think. But we got that. The New Edition movie, we working on that right now, to get that up in the works. We have a new tour we getting ready to put together with all six of us. We’re gonna do a live concert DVD slash HBO pay-per-view concert.”

The group has yet to set a date to return to the studio for a new album.

New Edition’s last release was 2004’s One Love.
