NELLY IS BACK

Nelly is back with a new single and a new album, Brass Knuckles.

After a three year break, rapper Nelly is back with his fifth studio album, Brass Knuckles. The rapper recently released the album’s first single, “Wadsyaname.” Brass Knuckles, which will hit stores later this year, will feature production by Nephew, Brian Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, and Pharrell Williams.

In between albums, Nelly has been working on his Derrty Ent. label as well as expanding his Pimp Juice and Vokal empire. Earlier this year, the rapper entered into a partnership with South African holding company Mojalife to distribute his Pimp Juice, Vokal clothing line, and Apple Bottom Jeans in Africa and various parts of the world.

“Believe it or not I’m looking forward…I’m routing on Britney, you know what I’m sayin’? I’m routing her own. One thing about me I love the comeback story. I love the guy that’s down, picks himself up. It’s the American dream, you know I’m sayin’? I think everybody is kinda of pulling for her, you know cause…I think the rap that she’s gotten over the past what three, four years is definitely uncalled for, for anybody. I don’t think she’s done anything to anybody besides her own self. So you know I’m pulling for Britney. Let’s do it.”

Prior to Britney Spears’ disappointing comeback attempt, Nelly shared that he was routing for the pop princess. The rapper said,
