NELLY HOPING SWEATSUIT WILL MAKE A GOOD CHRISTMAS GIFT
Grammy Award winning rapper Nelly has re-packaged his last two albums, Sweat and Suit, to create one new album titled, Sweatsuit. The new album also includes three new songs which were not included when the two albums were first released last year. |
Nelly broke down how he put Sweatsuit together. He said, |
“You know we merged them together. We took songs off of Sweat, songs off of Suit, we merged them together. The first song is called ‘Grillz’ featuring myself, Ali, and Big Gipp from the Goodie Mob. Ali being from the St. Lunatics, Gipp being from the Goodie Mob, Paul Wall, produced by my man Jermaine Dupri like that. That’s one of the singles. We also have another single called ‘Nasty Girl’ which my man Diddy blessed me with. That’s off of the Biggie duets album. That’s also on my joint featuring Jagged Edge and himself and one of my new artists called Avery Storm. I got a joint on there called ‘Fly Away’ which some people might have heard off of The Longest Yard soundtrack. You may or may not and we just put it together man. Something that’s good for the holidays and something that’s hot.” |
Sweat has sold over a million copies while Suit has sold over two million copies since both albums were released on the same day in September of 2004. |
