NELLY AND ST LUNATICS TO OPEN BAR AND GRILL

Nelly and the St. Lunatics are close to opening a bar and grill in the Hazelwood suburb of St. Louis in April. SOHH.com reports that the establishment will be called Mack’s Bar & Grill. The name Mack’s was created by taking the first letter of the names of the St. Lunatics which are Murphy Lee, Ali, Cornell (Nelly), Kyjuan, and Slodown.

Nelly’s business manager, Mike Chaffin, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “Nelly has always looked for business opportunities, and Ali ran across this [property]. And we found that it could be a profitable opportunity.”

The City Council has already approved a special land use permit for Mack’s but Nelly and company are still waiting for their liquor license.
