NE-YO PLANS HIS NEXT MOVE
Ne-Yo’s journey doesn’t end with his No. 1 album “In My Own Words.” The new R&B sensation is looking to move forward into acting with the new film “Stompin’.” |
Stompin, documents the passage of a 19-year-old street kid, played by Columbus Short, who moves from the gritty streets of the L.A. to enroll in one of Atlanta’s top black university. Two of the leading campus fraternities are vying for Shorts participation to win a national step-show competition. Ne-yo stars as his roommate. |
The film begins shooting later this month. |
