British beauty Natasha Bedingfield owns the Number 8 song in the U.S., Cascada owns the Number 10 song and James Blunt owns the Number One song in America currently with “You’re Beautiful.” Bedingfield has been a huge star in the U.K. for quite some time, and it’s only now she’s breaking through.

At Z-100’s Jingle Ball, Bedingfield talked about her new single said she’s encouraged by its success.

“The next single is ‘Unwritten.’ That’s playing quite a lot on the radio right now, just climbing the charts.”

Bedingfield talked about the advice she’d give budding pop stars, and she said her own success hasn’t been overnight.

“Um, I would just say it takes talent and hard work. Often when you see someone who is in a position of success it’s because they’ve worked hard as well at the fact that they’ve got talent. Accept advice from people, but also there could be a lot of criticism as well. It’s about who you listen to.”

Natasha Bedingfield recently released her album, Unwritten, as a DualDisc with videos and special behind-the-scenes footage. In 2006, she has yet to announce any tour dates. Stay tuned…
