Nas and Jay-Z have become two shining beacons of what being leaders are all about. The two men were involved in one of the biggest battles in hip-hop history in 2001 but now they’ve settled their differences and are committed to bringing back the dying east coast rap scene. The truce became official on Thursday, October 27th, when Jay-Z invited Nas out during his set at New York’s Power 105 Fm Powerhouse concert. |
Jay-Z invited Nas out and the duo performed Jay-Z’s “Dead Presidents” for the first time ever. Nas voice was sampled for the songs chorus back in 1995. Nas then performed “The World Is Yours,” “It Ain’t Hard To Tell,” and “New York State Of Mind.” He was then joined by Diddy for “Hate Me Now.” |
Nas told the audience, “We [are] savin’ the East Coast with your help.” |
Jay-Z added, “We all in this s**t together. Y’all witnessed history. Everybody in this building is a part of history. All that beef s**t is wack.” |
