MUSE READYING A DVD
(VIDEO) Muse is set to release a special edition of their new album, which will include a DVD of a Glastonbury performance among other goodies. |
While many bands have included special editions of their albums, Muse says that their special edition of their latest effort, Black Holes And Revelations is well worth the extra cash. The disc contains performances of several gigs, but the buggest of them all was Glastonbury, the fames U.K. festival. |
Dominic Howard and Matthew Bellamy talk about what’s contained in the extra DVD disc. |
“So there’s going to be a DVD attached to the album on a few of them, which will be a limited edition thing. And it’s just got some footage of us playing a show we did at Glastonbury festival in 2004 and some other random gigs that we’ve done in London and also stuff we did in America.” [Bellamy] “There’s sort of a few highlights from the first U.S. tour that we did on the last album. You can find, generally, just sort of bits of us on the road, but mostly centered around this Glastonbury gig, which is probably the most important gig to us on the last tour with Absolution because it was in the west country of England which is where we’re from, and it’s a very important concert kind of festival with aobut 100,000 people and I think it was as our biggest gig.” |
Muse’s first U.S. single, Knights Of Cydonia, is currently at Number 21 on the Alternative chart, and Black Holes And Revelations sits at Number 7 on the Billboard 200 album chart. In the U.K. the album is at Number One, and the single “Supermassive Black Hole” is at Number 22 on the singels chart. |
