MUDVAYNE SAYS EFFECT CHANGE AND VOTE

Mudvayne chimes in on the candidates and voting in 2008 on the eve of the Presidential Election.

With the United States election going down on Tuesday, many have a clear mind as to who to vote for and many are still undecided. While celebrities have weighed in favorably for Barack Obama, some musicians don’t want to get into partisanship. Mudvayne, who just released their new album The New Game, said they didn’t want to use their celebrity as influence.

They did however agree the country is at a crossroads and needs change, and they agreed that voting is a pretty good idea.

It’s something I like to stress is that I don’t have a responsibility to think for my audience and I encourage our Mudvayne audience to make smart, informed decisions and to think for themnselves, and I respect the decision somebody makes if it’s made in good judgment.” [Chad] “I on the other hand am very political, so vote for me. It’s the lesser of two evils at this point. What are you going to do? Cut off your nose to spite your face and don’t vote? You’re only given one little say every four years, and the one little thing you can do is vote. But that at the end of the day doesn’t matter – I watched that debate and it was insane. Mudvayne continues their tour Monday, November 3, in Houston, Texas and they currently have dates booked in the U.S. through December 20 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
