Artisan News caught up with Alice in Chains to get their thoughts on performing at their first Rock on the Range |
“Yeah, this will be our first year doing it and it’s great. I know we get off a plane then we get in a van and go to a dressing room and then we play then we get back in the van and we go to the airport and get on a plane and go home. That’s pretty much it.” |
Duff Mckagan of Velvet Revolver will also be performing a set with his latest band Duff Mckagan’s Loaded and he talked about getting to see his old friends Alice in Chains at Rock on the Range. |
“But I think people really do like the single and want to give this band a chance and want to see it succeed in The States. We’re at Rock on the Range and another big one WMMR Festival in Philadelphia. So there’s some big radio shows. It’s great we’re playing with Alice in Chains who are some of my best friends for that night at Rock on the Range. So, it will be a lot of fun.” |
This year Rock on the Range will include the addition of a third stage, the Jägermeister Music Stage, on-stage fan platforms–for contest winners–and an expanded vendor village. Also set to take part this year is Shinedown, The Used, Atreyu, Chevelle, Flyleaf, Saving Abel, Saliva, Blue October, Hoobastank and many more. |
