MOS DEF AND TALIB KWELI TO LAUNCH A TOUR THIS MONTH

Mos Def and Talib Kweli will co-headline Sony Playstation’s Breed Love Odyssey tour and fans who attend the tour will receive special Sony PSP giveaways. Pharaohe Monch and Jean Grae will serve as the opening acts for the tour which is slated to kick-off on October 28th in Sacramento, California, and wrap on November 15th in Houston, Texas.

In related news, Kweli recently signed a new label deal with Warner Brothers for his Blacksmith Music Group label. His first release under the new deal is the a limited edition CD, Right About Now, which is due out on November 22nd.

Mos Def is also putting the finishing touches on a new album tentatively titled, The Undeniable Free Now Black: Volume Zero. The album will be the rapper’s last release under his current deal with Geffen Records. No release date has been set for the project.
