MORGAN FREEMAN FEASTS ON LOVE
It seems Morgan Freeman has become the go-to guy whenever a narration is called for. He was the voice of God in Evan Almighty, the prison friend Red in Shawshank Redemption, and now the love sage Harry in Feast of Love. |
Morgan says he’s drawn to characters who observe life, but the film also represented a ray of hope that he recognized. |
“Life is a journey with many twists and turns in the road, many ups and downs. This is one of those pictures that gives you that dream quality that in the end it’s all gonna be OK. Probably the reason we keep going is because we’re hard wired to believe that it’s all gonna be OK. Films like this the point of it is to say, ‘OK go ahead, live, laugh, love, be happy.” |
Morgan says the film which explores many facets of relationships whether they work out or not encourages us to take a chance on love. |
“One woman was singing this song and she said if you’ve never been in love you don’t know the meaning of the blues. So I think yeah we should go ahead, learn the meaning of the blues.” |
Feast of Love features an ensemble cast including Greg Kinnear, Jane Alexander, and newcomer Alexa Davalos. |
