M.O.P.’s last official release was 2000’s Warriorz. |
“M.O.P. is a brand. It’s bigger than the music. All due respect to Roc-A-Fella and all the other labels, it’s bigger than anything else. This brand, M.O.P., is a solid brand that we built from the ground up. We have slaved. We have fought. We have done what we had to do to get to where we had to go and this brand will stand and remain. It’s bigger than us. It’s bigger than me, it’s bigger than him, it’s bigger than this dude right here. It’s what we do. It’s the life that we live and we tie it into people. You ain’t got to be black. You ain’t got to be white.” |
