MICHELLE WILLIAMS TO WORK ON SOLO PROJECT

Destiny’s Child has decided to disband at the end of the year so that the members could pursue individual projects. Kelly Rowland is already working on a new album and Michelle Williams is in the planning stages of her third solo set.

The talented singer is also an actress as she performed the lead role in Aida on Broadway for several months in 2003. As Williams contemplates her future, she isn’t sure if she will continue to release gospel solo projects or material more in line with Destiny’s Child sound. Williams explained,

“You know what I think I want to just write and just see what happens because I’ve gone through so much spiritually as well as in the natural realm. I think you know in order for me to help somebody I think I should go into those issues and talk about them.”

Williams’s 2002 debut set, Heart To Yours, peaked at Number One on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. The singer released her sophomore gospel album, Do You Know, in 2004.
