MICHAEL DOUGLAS SHAMED BY LONGORIA’S SHOT

Michael Douglas gave it his best shot while learning how to fire live ammunition for his role as a Secret Service agent in The Sentinel. Douglas says there was a friendly competition with co-stars Keifer Sutherland and Eva Longoria, but her fierce aim put the men to shame.

Growing up on a ranch in Texas gave Eva Longoria the advantage with prior gun shooting experience under her belt. rn

“We were up in a firing range for two days and we were firing live ammunition. Firing live ammunition you’re practicing by holding the gun up there and you’re looking at it and saying, ‘OK this gun, it’s got a real bullet in there.’ We were shooting in kneeling position, squatting. There was some friendly competition going on between Eva, myself and Keifer. We had Secret Service agents there and FBI and they all kind of bet that Keifer was gonna be the best shot. I was a little disappointed they gave Eva second place and I was coming up the rear. Well Eva just kicked our butts. She is an unbelievable shot. The police officers were getting together and said she shoots ninety percent better than the agents and the police officers they ever dealt with.”
