MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN DOLES OUT DATING ADVICE FOR SCOUNDRELS

When it comes to dating and meeting Ms. Right Michael Clarke Duncan doesn’t follow the macho rules laid out by Billy Bob Thornton’s character Dr. P in School for Scoundrels especially the one where he says you should always lie to the woman. |
Dr. P says that men should behave like lions with women and take what is theirs because they are the kings of the jungle. Duncan dishes out this philosophy on how to treat a lady. |
“Women hate liars. I’ve been a liar before so women hate liars. Tell the truth and you’ll always come out on top. You may not get the results that you want every time but if you ‘re honest with women they appreciate it. They may not like it but they will appreciate it.” |
However there is one piece of advice in the film which the romantic side of Duncan agrees with and that’s always get the girl alone. |
“I think a woman will respect you if you’re kind and gentle but on the flip side you’re stern and tough. No woman wants a man she can run over. On the flip side no woman wants a man who’s just disrespectful. So you have to find the fine line between the two and make this decision how do I treat this woman because every woman is different.” |
School For Scoundrels is in session tomorrow. |
“Get the girl alone is cool. You can actually find some nice romantic spots. That’s probably one of Billy Bob Thornton’s right there. Since I live in California there are some great spots in Malibu. You can go riding early in the morning or late at night. I think that’s very romantic. I mean anytime you can do that with a person that shows your romantic side and you don’t have this tough interior as well as tough exterior.” |
