MIA FARROW AND FREDDIE HIGHMORE HAVE NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE
A bonding experience turns into a near death experience for Mia Farrow and Freddie Highmore. |
Mia Farrow plays the grandmother of Freddie Highmore in Arthur and The Invisibles and enjoyed becoming family oriented with the young actor. The 12 year-old star of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and the 62 year-old earth mother had several bonding adventures while on location in France. |
What began as an innocent outing to see the sights of Normandy with Mia, her son, Freddie and his dad turned into a near death experience she will never forget. |
“We went to the beaches of Normandy because one of my kids who was with us and for Freddie, they both were very interested and so was I to see the beaches of Normandy. And it was a stunning thing to see and interesting historically but a loads of fun day to be out and about with Freddie and his dad eating crepes and we had a near miss. We almost got killed where our driver fell asleep in our car. We narrowly escaped death and Freddie does an amazing, he’s a great mime, he does an amazing imitation of our driver falling asleep. He’s loads of fun so we’ve had a near death experience together.” |
Mia says she saw her entire life flash before her eyes in that split second where the driver lost control but now she can laugh because she’s still here to tell the story. |
“Yeah I think we were all just kind of jamming on the brakes and the driver just did careen to a stop, went off to the side of the road and just fell asleep on the ground. Freddie’s father was in the car in front of us and then he took the wheel from that time forward.” |
Next Mia will be having a much safer adventure not far from home in New York with Jack Black, Danny Glover and Mos Def for the film Be Kind Rewind. |
