Metallica are currently on a world tour in support of their latest album to hit #1, “Death Magnetic.” With the band performing songs off “Death Magnetic” along with older songs from past albums like “Kill Em All,” “Ride the Lightening,” “And Justice for All” and “Master of Puppets.” “Death Magnetic,” which was produced by Rick Rubin is the bands first studio album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo and it’s Metallica’s fifth consecutive number one album debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Photographer Brian Miller was on hand to capture the bands performance at The Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles, California on December 17th, 2008. After taking a few weeks off for the holidays, Metallica will return to the road January 12th, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and conclude the first leg of their North American Tour February 1st in Newark, New Jersey. Metallica will then head over to Europe with dates beginning February 25th in Nottingham, GB and extending until July 30th in Oslo, Norway. The band does have plans of touring into 2010 as well, so look for them to announce more tour dates in the near future.
