MASTER P AND LIL ROMEO TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN SEPTEMBER

Master P and Lil Romeo to release clean album on the same day as 50 Cent’s new album, Curtis……

Master P and Lil Romeo will release a joint album, Hip Hop History, on September 4th. The new album will be entirely clean and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations and scholarship funds that provide underprivileged youth opportunities for higher education.

Master P said in a released statement, “This record isn’t about making money, it’s about providing a choice, changing, and hopefully saving lives. Before we condemn others for making a change, we should take a look in the mirror and ask ourselves, what are we doing? Are we a part of the problem or are we a part of the solution?”

“Nah I really don’t think, I mean from what we brought to the game, corporate America definitely don’t want to see that happen no more. So I mean as soon as an act is hot, they gonna go sign it up. They gonna make it so hard for them to put it out on their own that there’ll never be able to be another Master P or Puffy or whatever, Jay-Z.”

The album will be released on the same day as 50 Cent’s new album, Curtis. Last month, 50 Cent and Master P got into an exchange in the media after 50 Cent dissed the No Limit rapper by saying he doesn’t sell records anymore.
