Grammy Award Winning duo Mary Mary will release a new Christmas album, A Mary Mary Christmas, on October 10th. The album was produced by rnWarryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell for My Block Records. The album features classic Christmas carols with some original Mary Mary contemporary gospel. .

Neither of the women in the group are named Mary so the duo explained how they came up with their name. They said,

“You know our producer Warryn Campbell came up with the name. There’s two Mary in the Bible that caused us to keep the name. There’s Mary the mother of Christ that’s considered perfect then there’a Mary Magdeline who was not perfect. But once she met Jesus, his love changed her life. So we tell everybody it doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, we all can be changed by the power of God’s love. We all God’s children, you know.”
