With under a week to go before their tour in support of their latest release ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long,’ Maroon 5 are currently in their Los Angeles, California rehearsal studio putting the final touches on their set before hitting the road in their first headlining arena tour. The tour, which kicks off September 29th at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Michigan, will make its way across The U.S., Canada, Europe and The U.K. and will be Maroon 5’s couldn’t be more excited and ready to finally get out on the road on their first headlining arena tour. |
Lead vocalist Adam Levine and Keyboardist Jesse Carmichael took a break from their final rehearsals to talk about giving their fans something new, since they’ve been patiently waiting for the band to announce a major run of tour dates. |
“It’s going to be a blast man. We paid for this big ‘M’ and it’s pretty sweet. Do you see that? Yeah, it’s been a long time and we’re ready to come back. I know a lot of people haven’t seen us for a while so we’re going to try to give them something new in this tour and we’re excited about that.” |
After the incredible success of Maroon 5’s 2002 debut album ‘Songs About Jane,’ which sold over 10 million albums, ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Rock Chart earlier this year and has since been certified platinum. The bands has announced the first run of tour dates which will extend until December 17th in Zurich, Switzerland and heading out in support of Maroon 5 will be The Hives, Dashboard Confessional, Phantom Planet and Kevin Michael at selected locations. Maroon 5 have also recently released the video for their second single off ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long,’ which is for the song ‘Wake Up Call.’ |
