Former Metallica bass player Jason Newsted is back with his own band, and he talked about being nominated for best bassist at tomorrow’s Golden Gods Awards with his heroes Geddy Lee, Steve Harris and Lemmy, Metallica being at the awards too, and renaming the award for late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton.
