MARIAH GIVES THE BIG SCREEN ANOTHER SHOT

Mariah Carey is looking to get back into movies with the new film “Tennessee.” The film features Carey as a waitress who joins two brothers on a journey to find their estranged father. “It’s not about my character,” Mimi told MTV “But she has an important part of the story without the whole thing resting on my shoulders.”

Carey has been taking lessons from a dialect coach along with guitar lessons to help perfect the role. Carey was last seen in the box office flop “Glitter” in 2001.

“She’s hungry for it,” said producer Lee Daniels. “She’s jumping through fire hoops.”

The singer will fly to New Mexico to shoot “Tennessee”, but it is unknown when the film will be released.
