MARG HELGENBERGER PLAYS CRIMINAL WIFE

Marg Helgenberger goes from catching criminals to playing the wife of one in Mr. Brooks.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Marg Helgenberger goes from catching serial killers through forensic science on the television series to playing the wife of one in the feature film Mr. Brooks.

Marg says she took the role because it was so completely opposite from Catherine Willows.

“The fact that the character was so completely different than the character I do all year playing a forensics science expert criminalist I would be Demi Moore. I would be the one that’s tracking him. This was an opportunity to play someone who was loving and supportive and kind of allowing for her husband to have this other side to him that’s not really revealed very often to her.”

Marg also didn’t mind playing the wife of Kevin Costner.

“I was really blessed having to work with Kevin because he was one of the most inclusive persons I ever worked with ever, always interested in what I had to say and my opinion. In addition to being a good boyish charm that kept me interested the whole time on and off camera.”

Marg is currently filming Columbus Day playing another wife of a criminal, the ex wife that is of Val Kilmer’s thief who tries to win her back while fixing a heist that goes awry.
