Mannie Fresh’s sister found slain in her New Orleans home…..

Hip hop producer Mannie Fresh and his family are mourning the loss of the producer’s older sister, Angela Bryant, 42, who was found dead in her New Orleans home early November 29th. Bryant’s 1998 Lexus was missing from the home. Bryant’s time of death has been placed at between 10 p.m. and midnight on Wednesday (November 28th). Bryant, who just got married last month, was home with her two children, who were unharmed. Her newlywed husband was away on a business trip and, according to police, there was no sign of forced entry.

Police are interested in talking to Bryant’s ex-husband, as a person of interest.

“You know it’s the same way like let’s say for instance Timbaland family or whatever. It was probably you know Missy, Aaliyah, whatever, whoever album they was working on, everybody was working as a unit. You feel what I’m sayin’? You don’t get that no more. Like people, like now they’re like that’s dude album, let him do it.”

Mannie Fresh was the musical backbone of Cash Money Records. The producer was also one-half of the Big Tymers, a rap duo which also included Bryan “Baby” Williams. The Big Tymers’ last release was 2003’s Big Money Heavyweight, which was certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies.

Fresh, who has severed all ties with Cash Money Records, is working on a new album for Def Jam Records. The producer explained that the idea of being a unti and team is no longer alive in hip hop. He said,
