LUCY LIU LUCKY TO WORK WITH JOSH HARTNETT IN SLEVIN

(VIDEO) Lucy Liu felt tremendous chemistry with co-star Josh Hartnett in Lucky Number Slevin out on DVD.

The DVD for Lucky Number Slevin is in stores today starring Lucy Liu as the nosy neighbor who gets entangled in a case of mistaken identity when stranger Josh Hartnett shows up at her door. Lucy talks about her character’s bubbly personality.

Lucy had the great pleasure of watching Josh parading around in a skimpy towel in the film secretly hoping it would fall off at any moment. Lucy says she appreciated the physical differences between them.

“She’s a fast talking energetic girl who has an incredible amount of love for what she does as well as questions everything and everyone. I think she does it with an enthusiasm because she wants to help this person that she’s met. She thinks he’s a victim of his own circumstance which turns out to be completely different in the end and she also falls in love with him.”

Extras on the DVD include commentaries from Lucy and Josh Hartnett, as well as the making of Lucky Number Slevin featurette, plus deleted scenes and an alternate ending. rn

“He’s a very tall guy who’s very broad. He’s got a great body and she’s very small and so she almost looks like she’s half his size. She’s just fast and speedy and he just stays in place and she just runs around him so I think there’s just a sweet dynamic between the two of them.”
