R&B singer Lloyd released his gold certified debut, Southside, in 2004 on The Inc. Records. With Inc. CEO Irv Gotti and president Chris Gotti facing federal money laundering charges and the lable taking a hit when Island Def Jam ended their distribution agreement, Lloyd decided to take matters into his own hands. He signed with producer Jazze Pha’s Sho’ Nuff Records. Shortly thereafter Pha said,

But Lloyd has decided to return to The Inc. after the Gottis beat the charges and they secured new distribution with Universal-MoTown. The singer has released a new single, “You” featuring Lil Wayne and he hopes to release a new album next year.
