LL COOL J TO PERFORM AT PRE GRAMMY PARTY

The Grammy Awards nomination concert featured performances by Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift, and Ne-Yo and Jonas Brothers shared reactions to nominations.

Rapper and actor LL Cool J will release his 12th studio album, Todd Smith, on March 21st. The rapper will preview some of the new material at a special series of Grammy pre-parties which will be held at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. The series is titled, Signature Sounds Live on the Sunset Strip, and LL will be joined by Ciara and Ne-Yo on his night which is February 7th.

The rapper’s new album will feature guest appearances by Mary J. Blige, Teairra Mari, 112, Ginuwine, and Mary Mary. The rapper has also leaked two songs “It’s LL And Santana,” featuring Juelz Santana and “Whatcha Want,” featuring Freeway. The set’s official lead single is “Control Myself” featuring Jennifer Lopez.

“When you a little kid and you home and you listen to that music, that music touches you. And when you hear those words, those words mean a lot to you because you get to live through the artists and you get to live through their dreams and that’s an incredible experience. So you know art has a huge place in the world and we should respect it and love it.”

LL Cool J recently shared the impact that hip-hop had on him when he discovered it thirty years ago. He said,
