LL COOL J STILL SET TO TOUR THIS SUMMER

Rapper and actor LL Cool J will tour this summer and participate in Red Stripe’s Reggae Sumfest next month. The event organzers released a statement last week that the rapper was pulling out of the event and cancelling summer tour plans because of a family issue. On Tuesday, June 12th, the rapper’s management confirmed that he will hit the road this summer and that he will perform at Reggae Sumfest on Friday, July 20th.

In related news, LL Cool J will release his new album, Exit 13, this fall. The set will be executive produced by 50 Cent and will LL’s last under his current contract with Def Jam Records.

“I believe that we have the responsibility to say something positive to the world. I believe that you know we should embrace all our people and give them a platform where they could say something positive.”
