LL Cool J is back in the recoridng studio working on a new album. The rapper said,

The rapper’s last release was 2004’s The DEFinition.

“You know what, I don’t know. I mean as far as me, where will I take hip-hop next, all I can do is just do what I’ve done. You know I’ve basically achieved all of the goals that I want to achieve in music. I’m very thankful for it. You know, at this point, I just want to make music that people can enjoy.”

In related news, LL Cool J signed a three-picture deal with Lions Gate Films earlier this year. Under the deal, the films will be geared towards attracting more people of color to the theaters. The first release will be an urban Fatal Attraction type project.
