LIVING THINGS DISCUSS THEIR RECENT ALTERCATION WITH ALTER…
(VIDEO) Living Things are known as a band that isn’t afraid to speak their mind on or off the stage. Perhaps that’s why they had a recent altercation with Alterbridge. The band discusses the incident, right here. |
Living Things are known as a band that isn’t afraid to speak their mind on or off the stage and it’s also gotten the band into some problems as well. Like the time lead singer Lillian Berlin was pistol whipped after a show in Texas after some serious on stage Bush bashing at a show. But just because the band voices their political opinions, don’t think for a second they are un American. |
Recently at a show in Europe, Living Things were opening up for Alterbridge, who happen to be former member of Creed, and after voicing their opinion on The Bush Administraion were confronted by Alterbridge and soon a fight ensued backstage. We caught up with brothers Eve and Bosh Berlin to discuss the band’s recent altercation with Alterbridge. |
“We got duped in to opening for a band called Alter Bridge, ex-Creed members, and they wanted us to open for them for some weird reason, and we didn’t know anything about the band. We didn’t know they existed. We thought we were opening up for some band from Switzerland. Then we realized it’s those guys and stuff, which was fine — a show is a show. And they started to fight with us because they didn’t like the things we’re saying from the stage. They thought we were being anti-American, which is the last thing we want to be. We’re pro-American. We’re just speaking our mind and letting our voices be heard. That’s the most American thing you can do at a time like this.” |
Next up for Living Things will be an appearance at The Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans October 28th and 29th. The band is currently in the process of recording their follow up to their hit debut ‘Ahead of the Lions.’ The new album is being recorded in the bands home state of Missouri and will feature the additions of keyboards and horn players to the bands sound. |
