LINDSAY LOHAN LEARNS TO POLE DANCE

Lindsay Lohan took pole dancing lessons for her role in I Know Who Killed Me.

Lindsay Lohan stars in I Know Who Killed Me, a psychological thriller playing dual roles as the sweet victim of a sadistic serial killer who manages to escape and awakens from the hospital to her alter ego as a seasoned stripper.

Lindsay had to learn the fine art of pole dancing for the role.

“I went to, I started working with Sheila Kelly. She does these classes called the S Factor lessons. They do somewhat of an erotic yoga before to kind of warm you up and then it’s really hard getting on those poles. It’s all upper body strength. I did at first and it was really difficult. It really was. There were these women that were upside down sliding down head first and then flipping over and then going back. I was like, yeah I can’t really do that.”

Besides the difficulty of getting down the moves, Lindsay says she was attracted to the way the story speaks to her generation.

“I think the story line, the Silence of The Lambs aspect for my generation. It’s not too often that people my age that I’ve noticed come across a really great psychological thriller. I think I’m really lucky to be able to be in this movie.”

I Know Who Killed Me opens Friday in theaters.
