LINDSAY LOHAN LEARNS TO FOLLOW THE RULES
Under the watchful eye of her grandmother Jane Fonda, Lindsay Lohan must follow the rules in Georgia Rule. |
Lindsay Lohan stars in Georgia Rule as the daughter of Felicity Huffman and granddaughter of Jane Fonda, the film’s namesake whose teenage rebellion is put to task under the matriarchal rule of Fonda during a summer’s visit to repent for her bad behavior. |
Lindsay talks about what an honor it was working with Fonda, a screen icon whose films are legendary. |
“Barbarella, one word for me. I mean Bridget Bardot was supposed to do that film Jane told me. She’s told me so much about all of that and she’s great in this movie. She really is from what I’ve seen and everything I’ve worked with her on. She’s so complimentary.” |
Lindsay credits Huffman for improving her focus for the scenes she couldn’t concentrate on because they were shooting in the desert heat |
“I can’t even express how amazing she is and the things that she does. She was helping amp me up for the opening scene of the film. We were shooting, it was 120 degrees outside; I’m walking outside barefoot on really, really hot pavement in the desert and she’s in the Mercedes with the air conditioning in the scene. I was just kind of losing sight of what we were doing and she was just so amazing with just kind of getting me there. And just the looks of scenes when we just have to look at each other I’d just start crying. I mean she’s amazing.” |
One rule Lohan had a problem following was showing up on time to the set due to her hard partying. The film’s producer James G. Robinson wrote a strict letter to Lohan berating her late night carousing which ultimately affected the film. Fonda recently sided with Robinson urging Lohan to slow down and not burn the candle at both ends. Georgia Rule opens Friday in theaters. |
