Lil’ Wayne is now the youngest in charge as he was named president of Cash Money Records earlier this year. The rapper hasn’t given up his day job yet and will release a new album, Tha Carter II, on November 22nd. The album will features guest appearances by Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, Baby, Young Jeezy, and Lil’ Scrappy. The lead single from the project is “Fireman.”

Lil Wayne broke down the origins of the title of Tha Carter series of albums. He said,

“First of all, Carter is my last name. And then we all know from New Jack City, the building was called the Carter where Nino Brown had his business organized at. He ran a serious, serious, serious business. And I feel that when I do what I does, I get serious just like that so I’m the Carter. Here’s the Carter so I got that crack.”
