LIL WAYNE PUTTING TOGETHER PAPER BOYS PROJECT

(VIDEO) Lil Wayne is putting together a super group called the Paper Boys.

New Orleans-based rapper Lil Wayne is putting together a super group. The group which will be called the Paper Boys will be releasing a project in 2007. Kurupt, who is a member of the group, said,

Lil Wayne is still promoting his latest album, Tha Carter II. The latest single from the project is “Hustla Muzik.”

“I got a group that I’m in now as well that’s going to be coming out close to 2007 called the Paper Boys. It’s a project I’m doing with Lil Wayne. It’s basically a Lil Wayne project that he just racked us all up and said, ‘Come on let’s merck this mic, man, and get this money.’ Lil Wayne, myself, Juelz Santana, and Boo & Gotti, so you know we got a group called the Paper Boys. We fittin to be flying that on ’em.”

The rapper was recently hit with a lawsuit by a former manager who claims Lil Wayne fired her because he didn’t like the quality of a room she booked for him. The former manager wants $500,000 in back commission plus fifteen percent of the rapper’s income for the next two years based on a contract they signed last year.
