LIL KIM REALITY SHOW PICKED UP BY BET

Lil’ Kim’s reality show Lil’ Kim: Countdown To Lockdown was picke dup by BET this week and will premier on March 9th. The reality show begins before the rapper was found guilty of lying to a grand jury and sentenced to 366 days behind bars and ends with the recording sessions, listening parties, and the farewells the rapper exchanged with family and friends before entering the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia last September.

BET president Reginald Hudlin said, “Lil’ Kim: Countdown To Lockdown takes a very serious look at her life and her choices, and the consequences of those choices. It’s absurd, and it’s tragic.”

In related news, Lil’ Kim is scheduled to be released from prison on August 2nd, but according to her lawyer, she might get out as early as June.
