LIL KIM GETS OFF HOUSE ARREST THIS WEEK

Rapper Lil Kim will complete her one month of house arrest on Thursday, August 3rd. The rapper has been on house arrest since she was released from a federal detention center in Philadelphia on July 3rd. Lil Kim has been spending her time running her businesses out of the office of her attorney, L. Londell McMillan. The rapper is currently editing the second season of her BET reality show, Lil Kim: Countdown to Lockdown.

The rapper’s personal assistant Nate shared what Lil Kim has been up to and what life has been like since he became a reality television star. He said,

“Actually the main focus is on Big Mama right now. When she get out we probably gonna work on a tour, new album, and all that stuff. Oh man listen that reality TV stuff don’t pay the bills son. It ain’t hitting on nothing. I mean I’m glad people love me ’cause I love people so.”

On the musical front, Lil Kim is currently looking for a new label. The rapper has recorded for Atlantic Records her entire career.

Lil Kim was sentenced to 366 days in jail for allegedly lying to a grand jury which was investigating a February 2001 shooting outside New York City radio station WQHT-FM. The rapper began serving her sentence last September.rn
