Producer Lil’ John is heading to the studio to work on his first solo release on TVT records. Although “Crunk Rock” is John’s fourth full-length album it will be his first solo album on the label.

>“After a long battle and negotiations with TVT, we worked out out differences. TVT cut the check and now it¹s time for me to get back to work,” stated Lil’ John.

>“Crunk Rock,” which is scheduled for release later this year will feature new sounds from the super producer. “I’m about to get with Rick Rubin to do some rock sh– for my new album,” said John. “The crunk-rock is gonna be over the top. I’m not going to stray away from where I started off. I’mma keep doing what I been doing, but also give them a little of this over here.”

Aside from working on his album, Lil’ John is in the studio finishing the debut album for BME/TVT Records female rap slayer Chyna Whyte.

Lil’ John’s first single will be “Snap Yo Fingers” and features Bay Area rapper E-40.
