LIFEHOUSE DISCUSSES EVERYTHING
Lifehouse’s self-titled third record has been officially certified gold for sales of 500000 copies. The album follows in the footsteps of 2000’s No Name Fac… |
Lifehouse is still trying to break their next single, “Blind,” through radio, but it turns out their previous song, “You And Me,” just won’t die. The song is still going strong and the band has had a good year touring so the band has decided to commemorate their resurgence with a DVD titled, Everything. |
Everything features their videos, behind the scenes footage, and several songs from a performance in Portland taped earlier this year. Singer/songwriter Jason Wade talked about the inspiration for the DVD. |
“After every concert they’ve been complaining for the last three or four years that we don’t have a DVD and they’re always saying, ‘You know all of these other bands have DVDs out how come you guys aren’t doing it. And it was mainly just organizing the timeline between us and the record label and just having the right timing issues for it. But it’s really cool, and I’m excited about it. It has all of our videos on it. It’s got six or seven songs from Portland that we did at a club, and then it has some really cool interview pieces and how they were done, how they were written and how they were recorded.” |
Lifehouse’s latest album, its self-titled release, is its third album. They had a smash earlier this decade with No Name Face which spawned the infectious “Hanging By A Moment” and they released the more creative but less successful at the counter album Stanley Climbfall. The band will play radio festivals to rouind out the year. |
