LENNY ABSOLUT-LY LIKES REMIXES

Lenny Kravitz was on hand in New York City a few days ago for the premiere of the music video for his song, “Breathe,” and also to promote the new genre specific mixes of the song. LUNY Tunes created a Reggaeton mix, Lil’ Louie Vega created a dance/house mix and Eric Roberson created a jazz-inspired, world music flavor mix.

Kravitz wrote the track specifically for the adult beverage maker, and he said that he was surprised and at times impressed with the remixes.

“I like it. In a lot of cases I like it better. It’s great to hear something that somebody else hears and you say, ‘Wow, I would have never thought of that.’ Because most of them are completly, completely different — upside down, and I like that.”

Kravitz just finished wrapping up dates with Aerosmith, and he’s said to be heading into the studio to record a new album. Kravitz recently re-released his Greatest Hits CD and DVD package.
