LANA PARRILLA HITS ACTING LOTTERY

Lana Parrilla stars in the NBC series Windfall as Nina Schaefer the wife of Luke Perry’s Peter and whose former romance with Jason Gedrick’s Cameron begins to rekindle. In the beginning of the show Lana’s character says just because we have this money it doesn’t change anything. Lana couldn’t disagree more, and says with everything you want comes the responsibility of holding onto it.

Lana who previously made the rounds doing bit parts in shows such as 24, Six Feet Under and NYPD Blue says she hit the lottery with this starring role.

“Yeah be careful what you wish for. I think a lot of people you know you always want to be at a certain level in your career, success and then that’s great but what happens when you’re actually there. I just think about me being an actor and never knowing what comes with that. Just wanting to be on stage and wanting to perform but never knowing, ‘oh gosh it’s hard.’ Be careful what you wish for, it’s hard if you care about the work and I think that applies in every situation. I don’t think you really know what’s at the other end until you actually reach that point.”

“I mean this is like the lottery for me, this show is very similar. I mean I think about how our lives have changed already in just a matter of weeks. It’s so much fun.”
