KRS ONE LOSSES SON TO SUICIDE

After a long battle with depression, Randy Hubbard Parker, son of Simone G. Parker and step son of rapper KRS-One was found dead in his Atlanta apartment this past weekend. The cause of death was listed as suicide.

Randy was a graphic designer and he designed the album cover for KRS-One’s Sneak Attack album. . A private memorial service will be held in Florida on July 18, 2007, which would have been Randy’s 24th birthday. Plans are in the works for an August memorial service in New York City.

“And I’ve been blessed personally to be able to work with my family. My wife has been my manager for many years. My brother deejay, you know so on and other family …like my son, my oldest son. He did the Sneak Attack album cover, you know? And all of this is you know a savings for KRS-One, my family.”

In the past, KRS-One shared how lucky he was to be able to work with his family. He said,
