We caught up with Jonathan Davis, who portrays the devil, to talk about his starring roll in the upcoming film which is set for a 2007 release. |
“I play Sin-jin Smyth who is actually the Devil. It’s a cool movie. Basically the world is under Marshall Law and the United States is under Marshall Law and every Halloween the devil appears in two places, and these two guys are sent to pick me up. I get picked up in this place in Kansas. I’m in jail, and they have to transfer me and then all sh-t breaks loose. It’s good. It’s a gory, bloody horror movie so it’ll be fun.” |
So what are Davis’ thoughts on being an actor? |
“It’s cool. I like to do it. I like doing it, it’s fun. I like doing independent stuff. It’s something else to do.” |
After the immensely successful Family Values Tour, Korn are currently in the studio writing new material for their next album. The band is unfortunately looking to replace drummer David Silveria, who has decided to take a temporary break from touring and the recording of Korn’s eighth studio album, which as of press time has a tentative release date of June of 2007. Rumors are swirling that veteran drummer Terry Bozzio will fill the void. |
