KORN STILL MISSES ITS HEAD
Brian Head Welch will be rejoining Korn for some 2013 dates, but more importantly he has a new album with Love And Death and he talks about breakups and goin… |
Korn is set to release its new album, See You On The Other Side, on Tuesday (December 6). The band lost its guitarist, Head, when the troubled rocker decided to lead a simpler life and live according to the word of god. The band carried on without him, choosing not to add an official fifth member. |
The loss of their “brother” has hurt the band. Jonathan Davis told us what it’s like to perform and operate without its head. |
“Yeah, we do miss that spot. Everytime we’re playing on stage I look over and I don’t see him there, or if we’re in a backstage in the dressing room… There’s numerous times. Head brought a lot of happiness to us. He was the comedian of the band, and we do miss him dearly. But life is what it is and he had to go do his thing, and we’re very happy for him. So, we’re doing what we love.” |
Korn recently played an intimate show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, and they also brought contest winners over from Europe in a chartered plane. On the flight they performed a scaled down set. The band’s single “Twisted Transistor” continues to climb the Alternative and Active Rock chart. |
