The Killers are set to release their new album on October 2. The first single from the set will be “When You Were Young,” which will hit radio on September 18. The set is the band’s much anticipated follow-up to Hot Fuss, which spawned “Mr. Brightside,” and “Somebody Told Me.” |
We spoke with Brandon Flowers last year and he talked about his favorite of the new bunch. |
“I think our best song we just wrote it, it’s called “Only Natural.” I think it’ll definitely be a single one day, but it I’d be happy to have our first single out in September.” |
The album was recorded in the band’s hometown of Las Vegas, and other stand-out tracks include “Read My Mind,” “Bones,” “Uncle Johnny Did Cocaine” and the album’s title cut. |
Hot Fuss has sold 3 million albums according to SoundScan. The Killers hope that they are still priority at the label as words have become heated in the triangle of Fall Out Boy, Killers and Island Records. |
