KILLERS RECALL HALLOWEEN FAVORITES

While most kids in America are still counting their candy and packing away their Halloween costumes, many will be used next year. Ronnie Vannucci and Brandon Flowers of The Killers were no exception as kids.

This past weekend at the Vegoose festival in their hometown of Las Vegas they shared their favorite Halloween costumes.

[Brandon] “I was a big fan of Vampires and that was it. I was Dracula for about ten years in a row.” [Ronnie] “One year my mom, who was a real creative lady, made me into a giant allegator, and we used those egg crates for teeth and a construction worker’s hat with the egg crates coming from it so you could see the teeth. Paper mache and Mindy Vannucci. It was like an unbeatable combination.”

The Killers are heading overseas for a tour that will run through the end of the month. They’ve also been added to the Z100 Jingle Ball, the Christmas show of New York’s pop radio station on December 15 at Madison Square Garden. The band is on the road in support of their latest release, Sam’s Town.
