The members of Kidz In The Hall, Naledge and Double-O, met during a recruiting trip to the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. The group’s Double-O explained how they hooked up. He said, |
“And he came through for like a recruiting visit basically and I heard him. He just entered into the talent show. His boys were like get in the talent show. So he got in there and just ripped it. I was just like man this kid like is crazy at eighteen probably even seventeen. You were seventeen at the time. Like I can’t even imagine what he’s gonna be like in a couple of years. I definitely got to work with him. So we linked up right after the show, chopped it up a bunch. And then as soon as he came to Penn. He made that great decision. It was just poppin’, you know what I’m sayin’? We just put it together and was like grinding from that point. That was 2000.” |
The group is currently working on a new album, titled Class Participation. |
