Liles, who is now the exective vice-president of the Warner Music Group, recently released a self-help book to help others climb the corporate ladder. |
The book is titled, Make It Happen: The Hip Hop Guide To Success, and is in stores now. Liles explained why he wrote the book. He said, |
“You know in hip-hop we think we can do anything, you know what I mean? So I decided to say hey I can be an author and that’s what I did. I’ve now opened up another whole genre to us because I’m not talking about shoot’em up bang bang. I’m not talking about what was happenning on the block. I’m talking about what I feel to uplift us. It’s about the next level. It not just about getting an education. It’s about getting an education, getting money, and creating wealth, not just being rich. That’s why I wanted to provide a blueprint for people.” |
