KERRY WASHINGTON WEARS LINGERIE LIKE A BIKINI

When Kerry Washington saw in I Think I Love My Wife that her character Nikki does a scene with Chris Rock just in sexy lingerie she wanted to work out because feeling more toned and slender made her feel less vulnerable.

However Chris had a completely different figure in mind for Kerry.

“Chris wanted me to have more weight on than I usually do in the film. He was very specific with me about that, that he wanted her to be a woman. He wanted her to be soft and voluptuous, not toned and thin. That was a challenge for me because I felt a lot more vulnerable not being allowed to drop weight and get toned. It was interesting for me in my acting to be struggling with that in these tight short clothes.”

Kerry also psyched herself into feeling less vulnerable by imagining she was wearing a bikini rather than just a bra and panties.

“On the day that we shot those scenes towards the end of the film I kept walking around set going, ‘it’s a bathing suit. I’m in a bathing suit.’ And the crew was going, ‘no you’re not.’ And I was like, ‘yes I am, it’s just a bikini,’ trying to make light of it.”

Kerry kept the lingerie she wears in the film. Her next costume for Fantastic Four:Rise of The Silver Surfer involves blonde hair and blue contac lenses.
