Kerry Washington stars in Little Man as Shawn Wayan’s wife who is at first reluctant about adopting the little bundle that they find on their doorstep. Kerry talks about why she likes her character.

Kerry was the lone woman amongst the Wayans brothers on the set but she admired they’re work ethic which was about having fun. Kerry says she also learned a lot about comedy just by watching them.

“What I like about Vanessa is that she’s really strong and really driven and really together. But she’s also filled with love. You know she loves her husband so much and she loves her work so much and she loves her life so much and she eventually learns to love this baby.”

“They are so professional in that they never stop having a good time. You never feel like you’re working because you love what you’re doing all day long, and yet you’re working really hard. I love working with Shawn. I think we make a very cute on-screen couple. If I were going to do a comedy it was going to be crash course where I was on my toes working with the best you know ready to stand up to the mic. And these guys have taught me so much in the last few months. I just sit around and soak in all their comic genius.”
